| Good news- Easter is still magical. We spent Easter dinner with friends. One of the couples is a young newly baptized couple that still have a lot of questions- (like do we "believe in Santa Clause", let our kids trick or treat, etc.) After dinner we sat around talking and she asked me if we "do the whole Easter bunny thing". Scottie heard her and asked, "What do you mean- 'do the whole Easter bunny thing?'". I had to hide my cracking up, but she did an excellent job of recovery- and the magic remains! I'm sure our day will come, like next year probably, but it sure is fun to believe. |

We don't have early church, so there was plenty of time to fill up on candy and play with toys. Scottie got a build a robot kit which he LOVED. He was so proud to complete it. Jena and Mymy got Easter dresses- which they loved too (few!) They don't like everything the Easter bunny or anyone else picks out for them. It has to be the perfect combination of pink and flowers. |

| Mike was a little camera happy- but these pictures made me smile. It could be because we just had Mother's day. One of these days these kids of mine will be doing their own hair and not believing in the Easter bunny. What will I do then? |
Mylee, Mylee. We got her hair all curly, and she had a cow. She rubbed it all up with her hands into a fro- and then camera happy Mike had to chase her around the house documenting the fit.

She never got happy about her curls.
Sweet little kids. I've had people tell me that it's funny how the boys look exactly like their dad, and the girls look exactly like me. Next year I'll get Mike an argyle vest , and me a pink flowery dress...
